Ingredients
  

  • 500 g of Fresh Figs
  • 1 tsp of Lemon Juice
  • ¼ tsp of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

Instructions
 

  • Cut the figs in half and remove the core using a spoon. Place the figs in a small saucepan.
  • Pour in the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and add the cinnamon stick to the saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent the compote from sticking to the pan.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the compote to cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, take out the cinnamon stick.
  • Transfer the compote into a small jar and store it in the refrigerator. It can be enjoyed fresh, within 4 days
